Solution 1 contains sodium chlorite to eliminate existing sulfur gases, the volatile sulfur compounds that cause bad breath. Solution 2 contains zinc chloride, which releases activated zinc ions that create a barrier against new sulfur gas formation. This patented Smart-Zinc™ Technology targets the source of bad breath instead of masking odor.
